Legal AI is only as useful as the documents and institutional knowledge it can securely access.
Harvey’s Vault product is the foundation for that information layer: law firms and enterprise customers use it to organize sensitive documents, search across them, extract information, ask AI-powered questions, and connect proprietary knowledge to Harvey’s broader AI capabilities.
The Senior or Staff Product Manager will own strategy and execution across that product surface. This includes conventional document-management concerns—files, permissions, sharing, integrations—but also AI-native capabilities such as semantic retrieval, Q&A, extraction, knowledge search, and workflows that depend on large document collections.
Security matters as much as search quality. Legal organizations handle highly sensitive information, so access controls, workspace boundaries, compliance, enterprise authentication, and document provenance need to coexist with AI features that can retrieve and summarize information.
Enterprise integrations are another major area. Vault needs to fit into existing knowledge ecosystems rather than forcing customers to replace them. Relevant systems include iManage, SharePoint, Dropbox, and other document-management platforms used by law firms and professional-services organizations.
The PM will work closely with engineering on system design, retrieval architecture, data pipelines, and scaling. Strong technical judgment is useful because decisions around indexing, document processing, permissions, and retrieval can directly shape the final user experience.
Harvey is looking for someone comfortable operating across high-level product strategy and detailed implementation trade-offs. Experience with AI/ML products, semantic search, RAG, document processing, enterprise integrations, or legal technology would be particularly relevant.
This is a strong fit for a technical product leader interested in knowledge systems rather than a traditional consumer-product PM role.
