Projects can involve real-time ML, transformer architectures, graph neural networks, high-volume inference, explainability, experimentation, and cloud deployment. The expectation is not simply to train models and hand them off; the engineer should understand how architecture choices affect latency, scalability, observability, and production behavior.
The surrounding stack includes Python, TensorFlow or PyTorch, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and MLOps tooling. Seniority also means making architecture decisions and helping other engineers navigate technical trade-offs.
Candidates with 5+ years in AI/ML engineering and strong production software experience are the most natural fit.
