When an enterprise says it “needs AI,” the real problem is usually figuring out what should be built, how it should connect to existing systems, and whether the proposed design can survive production.
The AI Solutions Architect owns that translation.
Work spans customer discovery, architecture design, technical proposals, cloud and ML system choices, implementation oversight, and communication between business stakeholders, engineers, and data scientists. Depending on the engagement, the solution may involve NLP, vision, predictive ML, or broader enterprise AI infrastructure.
This is therefore both a technical and customer-facing position. Strong architecture fundamentals, AI/ML literacy, cloud-system experience, and the ability to explain trade-offs clearly are all important.
