NinthMoon is building an AI-native reproductive care ecosystem intended to support women across periods, fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, menopause, and related stages of reproductive health. That makes this position broader than a conventional web-development role because the engineer contributes across mobile, web, backend services, and AI-powered user experiences.
The Full Stack Engineer will build features across NinthMoon's consumer-facing platform while also helping shape the technical foundation underneath it. React Native is used for mobile development across iOS and Android, while React, TypeScript and JavaScript appear across the broader frontend stack.
Backend responsibilities include Node.js and Python services, REST APIs, Firebase, authentication, databases, cloud infrastructure, performance, security, and maintainability. Engineers are expected to own features through production rather than stopping after frontend implementation or handing deployment to a separate platform team.
AI capabilities are integrated into the actual product experience. The role can involve conversational features, user memory, personalization, analytics, LLM APIs, and workflows created alongside AI engineers. Experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, vector databases, or related AI infrastructure is listed as useful additional background.
NinthMoon also uses AI-assisted development tools such as Claude and Cursor extensively. The company is specifically looking for engineers who can use those tools to move faster while still understanding architecture and engineering fundamentals well enough to recognize poor generated decisions.
The position favors someone with at least 3 years of software engineering experience who has already shipped production applications, especially mobile products, and is comfortable operating in the ambiguity of an early-stage environment.
There is considerable ownership for a full-stack hire: product requirements need to become working features, technical decisions may span several layers of the stack, and the engineer works directly with product, design, AI, growth, founders, and leadership rather than inside a highly segmented engineering organization.
